Please contact the emergency dental service immediately if:

 

• you have suffered a dental injury and a tooth has become loose or has been knocked out (keep the tooth in a glass of milk or inside your cheek until you receive treatment);

• you experience severe bleeding after a tooth extraction;

• you develop a fever following dental treatment;

• you have difficulty swallowing.

 

Fees and Payment

Dental fees in the Netherlands are set annually by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa).

 

As a result, all dental practices in the Netherlands use the same nationally established treatment fees.

Every patient is unique and requires individual dental care. In some cases, additional costs for specific materials or laboratory work may apply. This allows your dentist to choose the most appropriate treatment for your individual situation.
