The out-of-hours service is provided by the “Mondzorg Poli”

since 1st of January 2018.
They operate by appointment only.

Always contact the out-of-hours service when you’ve had an accident

where one of your teeth has gone loose or fallen out

(please keep the tooth with root in a glass of milk, or in the inside of your cheek),

or severe bleeding after a pulled teeth, fever or difficulty swallowing.

Fee’s and finance

As per January 1st of 2014 all rates and fees are decided by the

Dutch healthcare authorities (NZa)
This means that all dentist in the Netherlands charge by these standard fees.

Every person is unique and that means they require unique dental treatment.
To make sure the treatment fits the Dutch healthcare authorities have decided additional materials or products can be charged when necessary.

This gives a patient more freedom in choosing a treatments that fits their needs. 

You may always ask your dentist or dental hygienist for an estimation

of cost prior to treatment.
